''MACKAREL''I used for this print a vinyl piece, it was very soft to cut in it and I print as relif and intaglio and in both techniques the result were beautiful. so I really enjoy to work with this material similar to lino but the effect in the prints are very good too the only thing is that scratches very easily.

STARTING DRYPOINT
THE DRYPOINT TECHNIQUE
I think I made the drypoint before I made the lino cuts. I used something called "drypoint card" although this technique is usually made using copper or aluminium and sometimes plastic called perspex.

LEARNING LINOCUT TECHNIQUE
PRINTMAKER JOURNEY LEARNING RELIF TECHNIQUE - LINOCUT
The place I went to to learn Printmaking is Fife Dunfermline Print Workshop. The main website does not seem to be working at the moment but there is a blog which is run for the members of FDPW.
Here are just a few of the small lino cut plates I tried out in the beginning- I used lino that was hanging around the print workshop, also it's posible to cut on wood, vinil too in this technique.
Also here is a proof of the lino cut. I used tools that were available in the print workshop and ordinary paper. I wanted to get used to learning how to carve and how to use the albion press.
